Thank you for making our 2023 Walk 4 Life & Family Fun Day a success!

Over 100 walkers showed up on a chilly November morning to take steps for life! We had a fun time talking and walking, while enjoying hot coffee and fellowship. The path near Lake Accotink allowed us to enjoy God’s beautiful creation of nature while honoring his precious creation of Life. Connections were made while the kids enjoyed the bounce houses and face painting. Even several of our patients came in person and enjoyed the event!

Our walkers and many generous supporters who gave online raised over $36,000 to help more women choose life! Thank you to everyone who walked, fundraised, volunteered or donated towards the 2023 Walk 4 Life! We are humbled when the Lord brings together all branches of the SLM Family to provide for our needs.

How does the Walk 4 Life work?

Step out for life, ask others to join or support you! After the walk, stay for family fun including bounce houses, face painting & a petting zoo.

Register to Walk individually or with a team! Then ask friends & family to sponsor you. Use a donation sheet to keep track of cash/checks.

If you can’t walk with us, Sponsor a Walker or Walk Team with your donation. Help us to raise funds so lives can be saved and transformed through SLM!

Details of the Day!

Date & Time: Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 9:00am - 12:00pm

Location: 5660 Heming Ave. Springfield, VA (Heming parking lot at Lake Accotink) McLaren-Sargent Shelter.

After the walk, enjoy fun for the whole family, including face painting, bounce houses and games..

Park in the lot near 5660 Heming Ave. (Do not put Lake Accotink Park in your GPS. It will take you to the wrong parking lot.) Walk to the McLaren-Sargent Shelter where you can check-in at 9am for the walk.
