MENtoring program
The baby’s father has more influence over the pregnancy decision than most people realize. Their pressure or support to the woman can make all the difference between aborting or keeping the unborn baby. 1 out of 5 patients brings the baby’s father to their appointment to meet with us.
Be The One these fathers need to choose Life!
The stats speak…
Children with absent fathers:
Are more likely to have emotional & behavioral problems
Have a 4x greater risk of poverty
Are 2x more likely to drop out of school
Are 7x more likely to become pregnant as a teen
Are more likely to become incarcerated as a juvenile
Have a greater chance of substance and alcohol abuse
All statistics are from the National Fatherhood Initiative.
We are beginning a MENtoring program at SLM! Are you willing to meet with the young men who come into the pregnancy center with their partners? You can have a positive impact on their decision! Take the first step by attending our next SLM Orientation to learn more about MENtoring!

“Research shows that a father's absence affects children in numerous unfortunate ways, while a father's presence makes a positive difference in the lives of both children and mothers.”
